
Women's Basketball Plays Host to Colgate for 'Kids Day Out' on Monday Morning
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team welcomes Colgate to Detrick Gymnasium on Monday morning for CCSU's Kids Day Out game. The game is slated for an 11:00 a.m. tipoff and will be streamed on NEC Front Row. The teams will be meeting for just the third time in program history.
The Central Connecticut State University Women's Basketball team will welcome nearly 1,200 local area school kids to Detrick Gymnasium when they take on Colgate for the Kids Day Out contest on Monday at 11 am.
"We are looking forward to hosting the local elementary school kids at the Detrick Gym," said Mike Ericksen, Associate Director of Athletics, "and we are excited to be able to give them a fun experience that will hopefully turn them into Blue Devil fans!"

- CCSU will have another early matchup at Penn State on Wednesday morning followed by a week break before playing at Morgan State Jan 3-day break from gameplay before returning home to host Colgate on Dec. 18th for the 'Kids Day Out' game at 11:00 am.

- Samora Watson leads the team and is second in the NEC in scoring with 15.6 points per game. She is second on the team in rebounding with 3.8 per game and leads the team in FG percentage (.426).
- Belle Lanpher is right behind Watson averaging 13.5 points per game good enough for fourth in the conference.
