- Samora Watson cashed in the first Central basket with 9:08 on the clock.
- Ally Sentance received a pass from Lanpher at the free throw line and drained a jumper to cut an early 16-12 LIU lead with 1:08 left to play in the first quarter.
- The first quarter ended with a layup from Belle Lanpher followed by an LIU free throw that resulted in a 17-14 score after the first stanza.

- Central brought the pressure late in the fourth. Meghan Kenefick was able to connect for three and a jump shot with 1:57 that cut the LIU lead to 51 - 45.
- Central was unable to mount a comeback as they fell to LIU 57-50.
