KEY MOMENTS
- Wagner took a 6-0 lead to start the game. Meghan Kenefick scored Central's first points at the 7:38 mark of the first quarter. Belle Lanpher hit a jumper with 0:32 seconds left in the first quarter that tied the game at 9.
- Rakisha Ballinger cashed in a layup to give Wager a 21-16 lead with 2:31 left to go in the half. The Seahawks and Blue Devils traded baskets throughout the second quarter but a three-minute scoring drought for Central left them trailing 21-16 at the half.
- Samora Watson began the second half with two free throws. Belle Lanpher made a layup and Central was within 21-20 with 9:10 on the clock. The Blue Devils and Seahawks traded baskets during the third quarter. Alonna Sellers dropped in a putback layup and helped her team cut the Wagner lead to 33-29 With 0:56 seconds left in the third.
- Wagner started the fourth quarter with a triple off the glass from Rakisha Ballinger that extended their lead to 36-29. The Seahawks would build their largest lead of the game at 42-33 following two Angelie Richard free throws. Central would chip away at the deficit and get within 48-45 with 0:36 seconds left to play after two foul shots by Amaya Williams.
Belle Lanpher had a good look for a three to tie the game at 48, but Lanpher couldn't get the friendly roll. Central was forced to foul with 0:12 seconds left. Wagner made 1-2 free throws to ice the game and The Blue Devils suffered the 49-45 loss.
