KEY MOMENTS
- Samora Watson and Belle Lanpher connected for Central's first baskets with 7:36 left in the opening quarter. CCSU suffered from a three-minute scoring drought before Lanpher knocked down a triple and Meghan Kenefick converted a layup to cut the Pirate lead to 14-9 with 2:57 left in the first quarter.
- CCSU ended the quarter on a 6-2 run to cut the Pirate lead to 16-10 at the end of the opening quarter.
- The Blue Devils started the quarter with two quick points from Samora Watson. Belle Lanpher drove to the hoop for a layup followed by a triple from Watson, that brought Central within, 20-17, with 7:40 left in the second quarter. The Pirates ended the first half with a 12-4 run to lead 32-21 at halftime.
- Seton Hall opened the quarter with baskets from Kae Satterfield and A'jah Davis. CCSU was led by Kenefick (5) and Watson (6) in the third quarter but was outscored by the Pirates 19 to 13 and faced a 51-34 deficit heading into the final quarter.
- Seton Hall controlled a 20-point lead with 8:47 left to go in the contest. Meghan Kenefick hit her second three-pointer to make it a 56-39 game midway through the fourth.
- The Blue Devils were unable to mount a comeback and fell to Seton Hall 77-46.
