The Central Connecticut women's basketball team welcomes The Sacred Heart Pioneers to the Detrick Gym on Saturday for their second NEC matchup this season. The Cheer Team Seniors will be honored at halftime. The Game will be streamed live on NEC Front Row.
The Blue Devils and Pioneers are meeting for the second time this season. SHU won the first battle between the two teams in Fairfield. Belle Lanpher was 5-for-9 from the floor and added 11 points. Alonna Sellers contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds in the loss at Fairfield back on February 9th.

- The Blue Devils had four players score in double figures in Thursday night's win over Wagner. Amaya Williams and Samora Watson led the Blue Devils with 15 points. Watson also tallied eight rebounds and three assists. Williams was 5-of-7 from the floor, 1-for-2 from three-point range, and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the stripe.
- Samora Watson leads the Blue Devils with 17.4 points per game and 5.8 rebounds.
- Alonna Sellers notched her seventh game in double figures in Thursday night's game. She has settled into a starting role for the Blue Devils and has yet to reach her full potential. With 13 points, three blocks, and three steals in Thursday night's victory, she is poised to have an impact in the game for the Blue Devils on Saturday. Sellers ranks second in field goal percentage in a conference play, shooting .506 from the floor (40-79).
- CCSU ranks second in opponent field goal percentage in conference play. The team ranks fifth (24.33) in defensive rebounding but eighth (9.92) in offensive rebounding in NEC play.
