CCSU Travels to Happy Valley for their Second Big Ten Matchup of the Season
The women's basketball team will travel to University Park, PA for a Wednesday morning matchup with Penn State at the Bryce Jordan Center.

- Central and Penn State are meeting for the third time and Central is making their third trip to Happy Valley.
- Head Coach Way Veney continues her first season at the helm of the Blue Devils.
- Penn State is the second Big Ten team on Central's non-conference schedule this season.
- CCSU will have a week break before playing at Morgan State on Jan 3rd followed by a home game on January 8th vs Stonehill to open conference play.

- The Blue Devils are hot off a victory and are coming off their best shooting performance of the season where they shot 52.7% from the floor and 80% from the charity stripe vs Colgate in Wednesday morning's 'Kids Day Out' game.
- CCSU outrebounded a team for the first time in Wednesday's victory vs Colgate. They outrebounded the Raiders 38 to 33.
- Samora Watson notched her first career double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds on 11-of-16 shooting in Wednesday's matchup with Colgate. She leads the team and is second in the NEC in scoring with 16.7 points per game.
- Belle Lanpher is right behind Watson averaging 13.4 points per game good enough for fourth in the conference.
- Ally Sentance is coming off a career-high 12 points vs Colgate and added two triples last time out for the Blue Devils.
- Meghan Kenefick had a team-high 5 assists in the game and is the team's leading rebounder with six a game.
