- Central and Penn State are meeting for the third time and Central is making their third trip to Happy Valley.
- Head Coach Way Veney continues her first season at the helm of the Blue Devils.
- Penn State is the second Big Ten team on Central's non-conference schedule this season.

- Samora Watson notched her first career double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds on 11-of-16 shooting in Wednesday's matchup with Colgate. She leads the team and is second in the NEC in scoring with 16.7 points per game.
