KEY MOMENTS
- Delaware State opened the bottom of the first with a double by Trey Paige and a walk to Evan Bouldin. Nick Gnardellis would single through the right side to plate Paige and make it 1-0, but the Blue Devils would get out of the inning to avoid further damage.
- CCSU took the lead with two runs in the second. Ramon Jimenez led off with a single and scored on a double by Derek Hagher to tie the score. Following a single and a walk to load the bases with nobody out, Haughey would come home on a double-play grounder to make it 2-1.
- Jimenez led off the fourth with a triple and would score on a wild pitch to put Central ahead, 3-1. CCSU tacked on an insurance run in the ninth when Joe Rios doubled home Hunter Pasqualini to make it 4-1.
- The Blue Devils' bullpen took over for starter Dominic Niman in the seventh inning and locked down the win. Vincent Spizzuocco allowed a walk in his inning of work before Luke Garofalo retired all six hitters he faced to pick up his third save of the season.

- Dominic Niman started and went 6.0 innings. He scattered nine hits and allowed just one run, while ringing up two strikeouts with two walks.
