Short hit two run homer for the Blue Devils
The Central Connecticut baseball team dropped its home opener 16-3 to visiting UAlbany on Wednesday on CCSU Baseball Field. Brady Short hit a two-run homerun in the seventh to highlight the CCSU offense.

KEY MOMENTS
- Consecutive two-out walks in the top of the second led to the Great Danes plating five runs, two on a single by Will Binder
- UAlbany added a pair of runs in the top of the third inning for a 7-0 advantage
