KEY MOMENTS
- The Blue Devils would bat around in the first inning, putting up seven runs. Mike Torniero had a three-run double and Hunter Pasqualini had a two-run single to highlight the inning. CCSU would collect four hits in the inning.
- Central added two runs in the third, four in the fourth and two more in the fifth. Pasqualini had an RBI single in the third and a two-run homerun in the fourth. Ramon Jimenez had an RBI-double in the third, while Jimmy Sullivan tripled home a run and Elliot Good drove in another in the fourth. In the fifth inning, Dan Hussey hit a two-run double.
- The Blue Devils would bat around again in the seventh, scoring five runs on four hits. A three-run double by Robert Chesney and a RBI-single by Mike Torniero would help round out the scoring in the game.

- Norfolk State joined the NEC as an associate member ahead of the 2023 season.
- CCSU is 9-0 to begin NEC play for the first time. Its previous best start was going 4-0, last in 2013.
- The Blue Devils won their 10th straight game, the second longest in the country to Texas' 13 game win streak.
- Central posted its most hits as a team since collecting 20 against Merrimack on April 9, 2021, and its highest scoring game since March 26, 2021, when it had 21 runs at FDU.
- Pasqualini finished the game 4-for-6 with four runs scored and five RBIs. He also had a stolen base.
- Torniero had three hits and drove in four runs, while Good had a three-hit day and scored three runs, while driving in a pair.
- Jimenez had three hits, while Sullivan and Brady Short each added two hits.
- Neuman tossed 7.0 innings and did not allow a run after the first inning. He scattered seven hits, while striking out five and walking just one.
