KEY MOMENTS

The Bulldogs loaded the bases with three straight singles to begin the inning. A single by Zac Zyons drove in the first two runs. Back-to-back walks loaded the bases and scored another run before a wild pitch allowed another run to score to make it 4-0.
- The Bulldogs took advantage of a one-out triple by Lewis Barnum in the fifth to plate a run on a sac fly by John Hosmer.
- In the top of the sixth, Ramon Jimenez doubled with one out and moved to third on a passed ball third strike. A wild pitch to the next batter allowed Jimenez to come home and make it 5-1.
- In the bottom of the inning, Bryant tacked on four runs, all scored with two outs. A Derek Smith single drove in a run and after a bases loaded walk scored another, Hosmer singled home two more runs to make it 9-1.
- The Blue Devils would try to mount a rally beginning with a three-run seventh inning. Jimmy Sullivan and Tyler Fote would each hit a single, sandwiched around Elliot Good being hit by a pitch. With the bases loaded and two outs, a throwing error against the Bulldogs allowed all three runners to score and make it 9-4. CCSU would have back-to-back singles from Danny Rogers and Fote in the ninth, but a double-play would end the game.
