This Week In Blue Devil Athletics: March 14-20
Softball and lacrosse open conference play as part of a full slate of home games this week.
Lacrosse and softball are home all week and both programs will begin NEC play this weekend.

Wednesday, March 15 - vs Hartford (DH) 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm
Saturday, March 17 - vs Wagner (DH) 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm
Sunday, March 18 - vs Wagner 12:00
- Softball will play two double headers this week, one against the University of Hartford on Wednesday and one against Wagner on Saturday. The Blue Devils will also play Wagner on Sunday morning.
- This will be CCSU's second time facing the Hawks this season. They defeated UHart 1-0 on Sunday, March 5th.
- Central's games against Wagner will open conference play for the Blue Devils. CCSU currently has an all-time record of 21-15 against the Seahawks.

- Baseball has a midweek game at Stony Brook before playing a three-game Northeast Conference series at Delaware State.
- Delaware State joined the NEC as an associate member prior to the 2023 season.
- CCSU has won three straight games after sweeping its season-opening NEC series at Maryland Eastern Shore.

- The Blue Devils open the week on the road at Delaware State for the second-ever meeting between the two squads
- CCSU will try again to host its home opener on Saturday, hosting Wagner at 1:00 pm in the first NEC contest of the year
- Olivia Gianakos had a hat trick, three ground balls and a caused turnover against then 15th ranked Yale, and was recongized as an NEC Prime Performer as a result
