Softball Releases 2025 Schedule
The Central Connecticut State University softball team announced its 2025 slate on Wednesday. The campaign begins on February 8 with a home doubleheader against Saint Peter's.
2025 Softball Schedule Highlights
- Head coach Breanne Gleason will begin her 12th season at the helm of the Central Connecticut program.
- The Blue Devils are slated for 25 home contests, including four Northeast Conference weekend series'.
- Central play at Charleston Southern (Feb. 14-16), which will include neutral site games against UNC Wilmington.
- The opening NEC series will be on March 15-16 when Central hosts Le Moyne.
- In addition to the season-opener, the Blue Devils non-conference slate includes home contests against Iona (Feb. 28, March 1), Rider (March 4), Fairfield (March 11), Siena (March 20), UAlbany (April 1), and Brown (April 23).
- Central's non-league slate includes games at Yale (March 7-8), Sacred Heart at Yale (March 7-8), at Fairfield (March 26) and at Army West Point (April 9)
- The 2025 NEC Tournament will be played May 8-10. The championship will include the top four teams playing in a double-elimination tournament hosted by the top seed.
