In her 14 innings in the circle, Hamilton did not allow a run on only nine hits with 13 strikeouts and six walks.
Teammate Ashlyn Desaulniers also was recognized by the NEC this week with her selection as a conference Prime Performer, as she batted .461 from her leadoff spot with one home run and a pair of runs batted in.
The Blue Devils' softball team is back in action on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. when Central hosts UAlbany in a non-conference doubleheader.
