Cancellieri Wins 5000m At Silfen Invitational

Carusone lowers career-best by 93 seconds in 10,000m

The Central Connecticut State distance group was in action Friday evening at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College in New London, CT on Friday.

CCSU will be back in action at the Wilton Wright Invitational at SCSU on Saturday.

Juliana Cancellieri won a tightly contested 5000m, crossing the line at 16:55.20, 3.5 seconds in front of the runner-up and the fastest time in the NEC this spring
Mya Morabito took bronze in the 1500m, running 4:35.64
Rebecca Carusone finished fourth in the 10,000m, running 37:20.95 to lower her career-best by 93 seconds
