Throwers Compete In Hammer Throw At Wilton Wright Invitational
Greyson Golda took silver to highlight Friday's event
The Central Connecticut State throws group were in action Friday afternoon at the Wilton Wright Invitational at Southern Connecticut State in New Haven, CT. The Blue Devils competed in the hammer throw on the first day of the two-day invitational.
CCSU will be back at SCSU on Saturday.
- Greyson Golda took silver, with a throw of 53.20m, with Nicholas Xavier in third, at 53.15m
- Quincy Davis took sixth place in the event, with a 48.23m effort
- Wenesha Stewart was the top female, throwing 39.25 to finish in seventh place
- Angelo Pisacreta (43.64m) and Tristan Smith (43.47m) placed 13th and 14th respectively
