Carroll Named NEC Diver Of The Week
Keane and Milhomens earn NEC Prime Performer
Central Connecticut State rookie Kaitlyn Carroll was named the Northeast Conference Diver of the Week on Wednesday. The honors are the final weekly awards before the NEC Championship, February 20-24, where the Blue Devils will look for a second consecutive conference crown.
Carroll was joined as an NEC Prime Performer by Abbey Keane and Sophie Milhomens.
In the Blue Devils final dual meet of the season, Carroll was the Blue Devils top finisher on the 3-meter board, scoring 227.70 points. She added a 216.15-point effort on the 1-meter board for the Blue Devils.
Keane earned her recognition after posting the second fastest, and fastest dual meet, time in the league in the 1,000, going 10:24.32. Milhomens went 2:08.96 in the 200 butterfly and is the second fastest in the league this season in dual meet action in that event.
