
Swimming and Diving Outscores Merrimack on Friday
The Central Connecticut State swimming and diving team won a Friday night dual over Merrimack at the Jack Suydam Natatorium. Central recorded a win in each of the night's 13 events.

RELAYS
- CCSU finished 1-2 in the 200 medley relay to open the evening. The team of Katrine O'Leary, Cassidy Stotler, Megan Dunnigan and Shannon Welcome swam a 1:49.08. The relay of Sophie Milhomens, Abby Bacon, Jillena Plowucha and Lauryn Cowing finished just behind in 1:53.03.
- The relay of O'Leary, Spaciano, Welcome and Kelly Stotler closed the evening with a win in the 200 free relay. The relay of Cassidy Stotler, Cowing, O'Hara and Milhomens was second in 1:42.56.
- Gabby Spaciano took the 200 free in 1:56.58, while Wynter Berube was second in 2:04.38.
- Cowing won 50 free in 25.37, just ahead of Dunnigan (25.42).
- O'Leary won her second individual event in the 100 free in 53.61. Kelly Stotler took second in 54.54.
- Abbey Keane won the 500 free in 5:12.35. Maggie Rutledge was second in 5:17.76.
- O'Leary took the 50 yard backstroke in a time of 27.43, while Nathalie Pena was second in 28.64.
- The Blue Devils finished 1-2-3 in the 50 yard breaststroke. Bacon won in 32.23, just ahead of Gabi Wroblewski (32.72) and Grace Young (33.31).
- Welcome won the 100 fly in 1:00.32, while Plowucha took second in 1:02.31.
- Pena won the 100 backstroke in 59.98 to lead a trio of Blue Devils. Milhomens (1:00.21) and Morgan O'Hara (1:02.89) rounded out the top three.
- Wroblewski won the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.37 and Young was second in 1:11.79.
- Cassidy Stotler won the 50 fly in 26:48 and Kyla Behrle was second in 28:02.
- Dunnigan took the 100 IM in 1:02.80, while Wroblewski was second in 1:03.49.
