COACH QUOTE

"Another gritty performance tonight against the Ivy League Champions. Brown got off to a fast start, scored early, and dominated in the first half. I thought we played much better in the second half. We made some changes and defensively denied Brown any shots on target. Credit to the Brown supporters who created a great atmosphere throughout the game."- Head Coach Mick D'Arcy

KEY MOMENTS

  • Caitlin Murphy made two saves in the 6th minute. Brown's Ava Seleenfreud took a shot which was knocked away by Murphy, when less than 30 seconds later Zoe Maxwell took a left footed shot and drove the ball towards the net when Murphy snatched it out of the air.

  • The CCSU defense was able to hold off the Bears in the second half, allowing no shots on goal.
