Ireland Claims 1000m Silver AT IC4A/ECAC Championship

Blue Devils had four runners in finals on Sunday

The Central Connecticut State indoor track and field teams wrapped up their two-days of competition at the IC4A/ECAC Championships. The event was hosted at the BU Indoor Track & Field facility.

The men finished 21^st with 11 points, while the women tallied 8.5 points to finish 25^th.

Jacob Ireland ran a personal-best, 2:23.86, to finish second in the 1000m final
Samuel Whittaker captured seventh place in the 3000m run, with a time of 8:27.27
Maegan Desmarais placed eighth in the 3000m, running a PR of 9:53.86
Lucas Figueiredo also posted a personal-best in the finals of the 200m, running 22.07 to place 10^th
