Men's Throwers Competed At Bryant Throws
The Blue Devils placed third in the team standings, accumulating 16 points
The Central Connecticut State throwers totalled 16 points at the Bryant Throws event, to finish third in the men's team standings.
The Blue Devils indoor track and field team is back in action on Sunday when they travel to the UMass Invitational at the New Balance Center in Boston, MA.
RESULTS
- Tristan Smith had the Blue Devils top individual finish, taking silver in the shot put with a throw of 15.19m
- Quincy Davis finished seventh in the shot, with a 14.04m effort on his first throw
- Angelo Pisacreta placed fifth for CCSU in the weight throw, with a 15.05m effort on his third throw of the competition
- Nicholas Xavier recorded the teams best throw in the discus, throwing 36.99m, 11th in the standings
