Ireland Second Place Paces Day One Of IC4A/ECAC Championship
Ireland ran 1:57.52 in the 1000m
The Central Connecticut State men's indoor track and field team were in action on Saturday at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, hosted at the BU Track Facility. The men are one of 19 teams that have scored points in the meet thus far.
The two-day meet concludes on Sunday.
- Jacob Ireland took second in the 1000m, advancing with a time of 1:57.52
- Lucas Figuieredo ran 22.03 to advance in the 200m dash
- Mark Rodriguez stopped the clock at 14:49.68 in the 5000m, finishing eighth
- Noah Colangelo ran 22.04 and placed 13th in the 200m dash, while KyMoy Phillip crossed the line at 22.14, 16th place
- Maxwell Czarnecki ran the 400m in a time of 49.07 to earn 14th place, while Jayden Brown ran 49.32 to finish 17th
