Agwu's Seventh Place Hurdles Run Paces Men's Track and Field On Friday
Ran 8.80 at the Dr. Sanders Scorcher
The Central Connecticut State indoor track and field team competed at the Dr. Sander Scorcher, hosted at the NYC Armory on Friday. The men's 4x400 and distance runners will be back in action at the second day of the event on Saturday.
- Kenny Agwu ran 8.80 in the open 60m hurdles to snag seventh place
- Aiden Budge finished 19th in the invitational 800m race, running 1:53.72
- Tristan Burke was 17th in the Invitational 60m, running 7.02
- Eddie Nicholas ran 8:32.98 in the invitational 3000m, finishing 25th
- Angelo Pisacreta threw 14.88m in the open weight throw, placing ninth, while Greyson Golda was 11th with final throw 14.65
- Kyle Wimbish was 13th in the high jump, clearing 1.96 meters, while Keith Townsend cleared 1.91 and finished 15th
- Willie Elliott was 17th in the triple jump, with a top jump of 13.02m
- Tyler Safstrom finished 33rd in the 800m, running 2:00.74
- Cole Robertson crossed the line in 51.79 in the 400m, good for 28th in the seeded event
