
Trio of Blue Devils Earn NEC Baseball Weekly Recognition
Central Connecticut infielder Aidan Redahan was named Northeast Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the second straight week it was announced Tuesday. Redahan was joined on the league's list of Prime Performers by Chris Brown and Drew Munn after helping CCSU to a sweep of Coppin State.
Redahan was outstanding last week in running his hit streak to 11 games. In a mid-week contest he collected three hits and four RBIs at Saint John's. He then went 7-for-10 in weekend series vs. Coppin State. Redahan drove in three runs on Ssturday with a homerun, then hit a double, triple and single in Sunday's win. He currently ranks second nationally with a .479 batting average on the season and is the toughest hitter to strike out nationally, striking out just once every 71 at bats.

Brown hit his first homer of the year in a win over Coppin St. on Saturday to go with three hits and four RBIs. He added five RBIs in a win on Friday.

Munn won his third straight start in Friday's series opener. He allowed just two hits and a walk over 7.0 innings, while striking out three. He had a perfect game through four innings and the only blemish was allowing a solo homer in the seventh
