Landon DiBeradin followed with a single to right that scored Jackson to give the Lakers a 2-0 lead.
- CCSU answered with two of their own in the bottom of the first, as the first three runners reached to load the bases. Consecutive sacrifice flies, Chris Brown to right and Bo Yaworski to center, plated two runs to bring the Blue Devils even.
- Kyle Gordon led off the home third with a double down the left field line. He advanced to third on a fielding error and scored the go-ahead run on a ground ball from Yaworski.
- With two out and two runners on, in the top of the fourth, Matt Falk quickly corralled a wild pitch and threw behind Juchno to pick him off at first and end the inning. The Lakers got the run back an inning later, when with runners on first and third, the Blue Devils had Walker picked off first but the throw bounced into the outfield, allowing Jackson to score the tying run.
- Aidan Redahan singled up the middle to bring Falk and Brady Short home to put Central on top, 5-3, in the bottom of the sixth. Antonio Ducatelli lined a shot right back through the box to score Redahan for the 6-3 lead. Colby Brouillette greeted new Lakers pitcher Ben Berliner with a two RBI single to right to make the score 8-3
- Central tacked on four runs in the bottom of the seventh after loading the bases with nobody out. Yaworski had an RBI-groundout and Ducatelli drew a bases-loaded walk to bring in another run. Walks to Brouillette and Gabe Pitts brought in two more runs to make it 12-3.
- The Lakers got three runs in the top of the eighth. A sac fly scored a run, Casey Smith had an RBI-single and an error allowed another run to score to make it 12-6. Mercyhurst added a run in the ninth, but could not manage another run.
