Trueman Named All-Tournament at Sacramento State
Sophomore Heather Trueman was named All-Tournament at the Sacramento State Invitational.
Sophomore Heather Trueman was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Sacramento State Invitational. Trueman and the CCSU volleyball team posted a 1-2 record over three matches at the tournament.
Trueman posted 28 kills on 84 total attacks over eight sets. Her 84 attacks were the most for any CCSU hitter over the tournament's three matches. She had just 10 attack errors in the match and hit .214 for the tournament.
Trueman also posted 13 digs, two blocks and a service ace over the three matches.
She finished the tournament with averages of 3.50 kills and 1.62 digs/set.
The Blue Devils fell to Cal Poly (L, 3-0) and Sacramento State (L, 3-1), but rebounded to beat San Jose State (W, 3-0) in their final match of the tournament. Cal Poly went on to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.
The Blue Devils return to action this weekend at the Dartmouth Invitational before hosting the CCSU Blue Devil Invitational on Sept. 20-21, at Detrick Gym.
