"Conditions were very difficult out there today and I couldn't be more proud of the way Matt and our entire team played," head coach Kevin Giancola said on Monday following the second round. "The boys played valiantly today and Matt played a brilliant round."
DeJohn's tournament victory is the first of his career at CCSU. He has been the top finisher for the Blue Devils in each of their last two tournaments.
