DeJohn leads Blue Devils with round one 73
The Central Connecticut men's golf team sits in sixth place after the first day of the CCSU Blue Devil Invitational at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, CT. Central shot a day one 300, and sits behind Bryant University, Sacred Heart, St. Peter's, Laval and Hofstra University.

For the Blue Devils, senior Matthew DeJohn shot a 73 on Sunday, good for +3 on the par-70 course. He is tied for eighth place Junior Monte Mullen is one stroke back (74, +4) and in a tie for 12th place, and freshman Matt Hills shot a 76, good for +6 and a tie for 26th.
Sophomore Connor Murphy shot a 77 and is tied for 33rd and freshman Nick Direda fired a 79 (+9), good for a tie for 43rd.
