Keane's Mile Provides Perfect Ending To NIC Competition

The Central Connecticut swim team wrapped up the 2022-23 campaign on the final day of the CSCAA National invitation Championship in Elkhart, IN. The Blue Devils tallied 25 points and finished 44th as a team, tops of the three Connecticut schools competiting at the event,
Abbey Keane posted a personal-best in placing 17th in the 1,650, lowering her winning time from the NEC Championship and finishing at 16:54.17. That is the second fastest swim in program history. Her 1,000 split of 10:13.99 placed 20th in the meet.
Taylor DeMarest also swam the 1,650, touching at 17:31.94.
Cassidy Stotler swam the 100 IM on Saturday, swimming 58.45, moving from 83rd in the seedings to finish 50th.
