The Second Annual Blue Devil Choice Awards honored the best and brightest of the CCSU student-athletes

Both the men's and women's Central Connecticut cross country teams were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their outstanding work in the classroom. The men's cross country team posted a cumulative 3.4 team GPA during the fall semester. The women posted a cumulative 3.33 GPA.

After finishing runners-up at the Northeast Conference Championship, the Central Connecticut women's cross country team had three runners selected to the All-NEC teams and two named to the All-Rookie team.

The women's cross country team finished 26th out of 37 teams in the NCAA Regionals on Friday morning at Van Cortland Park.

CCSU women's cross country totaled 45 points and took home second place at the Northeast Conference Championship on Friday in Brookeville, NY.

The Central Connecticut women's cross country team placed 27th in the I4CA/ECAC Championships on Saturday in the Bronx, NY.

Central Connecticut State University head cross country coach Eric Blake announced the Blue Devils 2023 slate on Thursday. The campaign begins September 9th, on the road at LIU, with the lone home meet scheduled for October 20th.
