Grudzwick Named Co-Track Athlete of the Week
Richard was the 2018 NEC Outdoor Track 800m champion.
Senior Richard Grudzwick of the Central Connecticut men's indoor track and field team was acknowledged as the Northeast Conference Co-Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league's front office on Tuesday afternoon.
The 2018 NEC Outdoor 800m champion, lifted the lid off a new indoor campaign by claiming the league lead in his signature event. The CCSU senior eased to victory in the 800m run at the Wagner College Invitational, crossed the line in 1:54.07. His NEC-best time places the Nutmeg State product in eighth place amongst IC4A Championship qualifiers.
Grudzwick and the rest of the Central Connecticut indoor track and field team will compete on Friday, Jan. 11 inside the Armory Track and Field Center in New York, NY for the Rampo College Indoor Track and Field Season Opener.
