Rafter Named Co-Athlete of the Week
After a record breaking performance at last weekend's Raleigh Relays, Central Connecticut State University's Angie Rafter was named Co-Athlete of the Week by the Northeast Conference on Tuesday.
Rafter set a CCSU outdoor track record during the first day of the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina. In the 5000m race, Rafter placed 13th with a time of 16:01.22. This smashed CCSU's previous record by nearly a complete minute.
Rafter and the rest of the Blue Devils will be competing again this weekend at the Black and Gold Invitational at Bryant.
