Rafter, Dana Grab Wins at TCNJ Invite
Central Connecticut women's track and field had another impressive outing at the TCNJ in New York on Saturday, taking home two first place finishes from Angie Rafter and Ashley Dana to go along with a number of top ten performances.
Rafter ran circles around the competition in the women's 3000 meter run, finishing at 9:21.92, a full 19 seconds ahead of second place. Kaitlyn Stevens and Kayla Cohen also snagged top ten finishes in the race.
Dana churned out an impressive victory in the women's 800 meter run, beating out the competition with a 2:17.55 first place time.
Alissa Hurd finished fourth in the women's high jump with a 1.56 meter jump.
Magnalen Camara earned a top ten finish in the 500 meter dash, finishing seventh with a 1:19.84 time.
The Blue Devils will be competing again this Saturday at the Ramapo Opener.
