The Central Connecticut women’s soccer team will host Howard in the NEC Tournament Semifinal game on Thursday, November 2nd.
The Central Connecticut women's soccer team will host Howard in the NEC Tournament Semifinal game on Thursday. Kick-off is set for 6:00 PM under the lights, at CCSU Soccer Field, admission is free.

Season Recap:
- CCSU went 9-4-4 in the regular season and had a perfect 7-0-3 record in conference play, for the second consecutive season.
- The Blue Devils earned a first-round bye and the second seed by defeating Wagner 2-1 at home last week.
- This is the first time the Blue Devils soccer team has gone undefeated in regular season conference play in consecutive seasons since 1996-97.
- The Blue Devils ended Howard University women's soccer's seven-game win streak in their last matchup, securing a 2-1 victory on September 28th at the CCSU Soccer Field. The Blue Devils have a perfect 3-0 record against the Bison.
- Central faced FDU in the NEC Semi-final game last year, but unfortunately fell to the Knights 2-1 in a heartbreaking loss in New Britain. The Blue Devils look to turn the tide with a victory Thursday night.
- With a victory, the Blue Devils will face the winner of the #6 Wagner vs #1 Merrimack matchup, which will take place on November 2nd at 7 PM.
- The Blue Devils are 26-10 all-time in NEC Tournament play and this is the tenth time in the last eleven years that they have qualified for the NEC Tournament.
- With a CCSU win the Blue Devils will advance to the NEC Championship game for a chance to win their 13th NEC Championship (11th under Mick D'Arcy).
If CCSU wins:
- Merrimack defeats Wagner: #1 ranked Merrimack will host CCSU in a road championship game in North Andover, Mass at Martone-Mejail Field.
- Wagner defeats Merrimack: #2 ranked CCSU will host Wagner for a home championship match in New Britain.
