Raymond 13th at USATF Jr. in Iowa
Freshman Tyler Raymond turned in a 33:46.23 in the 10,000m Friday for 13th place.
Central Connecticut's Tyler Raymond of the men's track and field team competed Friday at the USA Junior Track and Field Championships (USATF Jr.) in Des Moines, IA. Raymond, who just completed his freshman year as a Blue Devil, crossed the finish line in the 10,000 meter run in 33:46.23 for 13th place.
Raymond was seeded 25th headed into the race and earned 13th of the 22 runners from across the country. He comes off of a successful freshman campaign in which he performed well on the men's cross country team and in indoor and outdoor track and field. He also earned Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for his cross country performance in October.
