Haid Earns NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Player of the Week; Momoh Prime Performer
Devin Haid of the Central Connecticut men's basketball team earned Northeast Conference/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office co-Player of the Week honor it was announced on Monday. It was Haid's fifth honor of the season and he was joined on the league's Prime Performer list by Abdul Momoh after the pair helped the Blue Devils drop FDU in their only game last week.
Haid posted a career-high 25 points in the win over FDU. He did his scoring on an efficient 8-of-12 shooting from the field and collected eight rebounds. Haid is tied for the team lead in scoring at 13.3 points to go with 5.5 rebounds. In league play he is scoring 14.4 points on 47 percent shooting to go with 5.9 rebounds. He ranks among the conference leaders in six categories overall
Momoh has been named a Prime Performer six times this season and had 11 points and 11 rebounds against FDU. He has posted four double-doubles this season, all coming in NEC play. On the season he is posting 9.3 points to go with a team-high 6.1 rebounds. Momoh is shooting 62.4 percent from the field in all games.
The Blue Devils are back in action on Thursday when they host Mercyhurst at 7:00 p.m. for a "Blue Out".
