
Haid Named NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Player of the Week for Second Time
Devin Haid of the Central Connecticut men's basketball team earned his second Northeast Conference/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Player of the Week honor on Monday. Haid won the honor for the second straight week after leading CCSU at Rhode Island on Sunday.
Haid led Central with career-highs of 24 points and 12 rebounds against the Rams. He shot 9-of-17 overall and hit a trio of trifectas in the game. Haid added two assists, two blocks and a steal in the game and had CCSU within a basket at halftime. Haid scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the opening half, including scoring seven straight to give CCSU its largest lead of the opening half at 23-18. He scored 5-of-9 from the field in second half to keep the Blue Devils close. Across the past four games Had is averaging 16.5 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game.
The Blue Devils are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Fairfield.
