
Men's Basketball Cruises in Road Win at Le Moyne
The Central Connecticut men's basketball team remained perfect in Northeast Conference road games with a 93-70 win at Le Moyne on Friday in Syracuse, NY. The Blue Devils had five players score in double-figures and shot better than 55 percent from the floor in a game that it led for 38 minutes.
Devin Haid scored a game-high 20 points, while Jordan Jones finished with 15 points. Abdul Momoh added 14 points, while Jayden Brown scored 12 and Jaelen McGlone chipped in 10 points. Central shot 36-of-65 (.554) overall and 11-of-21 (.524) from three-point range. The Blue Devils were 10-of-10 (1.000) at the foul line.
AJ Dancler had 18 points for the Dolphins. Le Moyne shot 26-of-64 (.406) overall and 13-of-36 (.361) on three-pointers. Le Moyne was 5-of-9 (.556) at the foul line.

KEY MOMENTS
- The teams played nearly seven minutes before the first timeout. Central would hit 8-of-10 from the field to open the game, including a pair of three-pointers. Joe Ostrowsky would convert a three-pointer to make it 18-13 at the 13:55 mark. The Blue Devils would build a double-digit lead with a 10-0 run and a follow up putback by Jaelen McGlone made it 23-13.
- Le Moyne would end a three-minute scoreless drought with a three-pointer and eventually cut the Central lead to just six points with a 7-0 run, getting within 31-25. CCSU would manage to push its lead back to double-figures and led, 45-33 at the intermission, following a finger roll by Devin Haid just before halftime.
- The Blue Devils scored the opening five points of the second half to push its lead to 50-33. Jordan Jones hit a three-pointer and Abdul Momoh had a layup. A pair of Jayden Brown foul shots and a Devin Haid trifecta extended the CCSU lead to 55-35 with 16:47 remaining.
- Central would extend the lead to as much as 76-47 with 10:05 remaining and did not allow the margin to get closer than the final margin over the final 10 minutes of play.

NOTES
- Central dished out 20 assists, a season-high against a Division I opponent this year, while committing just eight turnovers.
- Haid shot 8-of-12 from the field, while Jones was 6-of-11.
- Brown added five rebounds, four assists and a blocked shot.
- Momoh collected a double-double for the second straight game and third time in NEC play.
- McGlone, appearing in just his second game at CCSU, shot 4-of-6 and grabbed four boards.
- Davonte Sweatman had a team-high five assists.
- The Blue Devils did not commit their first foul in the game until 12:10 into the game.
- Le Moyne is 7-4 all-time in the series while CCSU snapped a four-game slide in the series
