Radden Tabbed NEC Athlete of the Week
Junior Aaron Radden was named Northeast Conference Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
The Northeast Conference recognized junior Aaron Radden as NEC Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Boston University Terrier Invitational this past Saturday, January 28th. This is Radden's second Athlete of the Week honor this season.
Radden won the first NEC Track Athlete of the Week award in the month of January and now he adds the month's last to his resume. The third-year Blue Devil posted a pair of IC4A Championship qualifying times while sprinting his way into the NCAA Division I Top 25 at the 2012 Boston University Terrier Classic. Radden clocked in with the 22nd-fastest 200-meter time (21.32) in the nation this season and finished second out of 133 entries at BU. Radden was the top collegiate finisher in the event and was second overall only to Lalonde Gordon (Zenith Velocity Athletic Club) who set a facility record. Radden also ran the 60-meter dash at BU, claiming 11th place overall with an IC4A qualifying mark of 6.98s.
