Men's Indoor Picked 2nd in NEC Poll
Central Connecticut was picked second in the men's indoor track & field Northeast Conference preseason poll. The Blue Devils look to repeat as Northeast Conference Champions in 2012.
The Central Connecticut men's indoor track & field team was tabbed to finish second in this year's Northeast Conference preseason coaches poll. Though the Blue Devils tallied the highest number of first place votes (6) , Monmouth (4) was picked to finish ahead of Central. The results of the poll were released on Tuesday, January 3
Earning both MVP and Most Outstanding Track Performer accolades at the 2011 NEC Indoor Championship, then sophomore Aaron Radden helped lead the Blue Devils to their first NEC title in school history. Freshman Denzell Jones jumped his way to a first place finish in the high jump (2.10m) and collected the NEC Most Outstanding Rookie award.
