Men's and Women's Track & Field Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team
Both men’s and women’s track & field have been honored as part of the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association 2011 division one all-academic teams for outstanding academic performance. Teams who have posted a combined team GPA of 3.00 or higher have earned this distinction. The men’s team was one of 90 track & field teams selected with a collective GPA of 3.19 and the women’s team was one of 164 teams posting a 3.19 GPA.

Radden Earns All-Academic Honor
Central Connecticut junior sprinter Aaron Radden earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Honors for the second consecutive year. Radden was the Northeast Conference's fastest man last year sweeping the indoor 60 and 200 titles and the outdoor 100 and 200 titles. His excellent performance also extended into the classroom.
