Morabito Named NEC Track Athlete of the Week

After her performance at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, NJ, Brooke Morabito was named the NEC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.

After her performance at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, NJ, Brooke Morabito was named the NEC Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

Morabito competed in the 5,000m race finishing seventh in the event with a time of 16:48.51. She now leads the conference in the event by over a minute.

Morabito was also named a Prime Performer alongside teammate Alissa Hurd. Hurd placed seventh in the high jump at the UConn Northeast Challenge, leaping for 1.65m.

The Blue Devils will be back in action this weekend at the Holy Cross Invitational.
