Women's T&F Competes at New England Championships
Three Blue Devils competed in Friday's events at the New England Outdoor Championships.
Three members of the Central Connecticut women's track & field team competed in the New England Outdoor Championships (NEICAAA) on Friday held at MIT in Boston, MA.
NEW ENGLAND OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS
Sophomore Melissa Wolliston matched her collegiate personal-best and qualified for the finals in the 100 meter hurdles. She turned in a time of 14.51, which was the fourth-fastest in qualifying. Junior Sarah Hicks also ran in the 100 meter hurdles and clocked a time of 15.39.
Senior Krisztina Dearborn placed eighth in the 5,000 meter run, turning in a time of 17:32.05. Dearborn ran almost eight seconds faster than her time that placed third at the Northeast Conference Championships last weekend.
