Blue Devils Student-Athletes Recognized on NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll
Northeast Conference recognizes winter sports programs for academic achievement.
Central Connecticut had 46 student-athletes from five winter sports programs named to the Northeast Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll it was announced Friday. In addition, seven Blue Devils student-athletes earned a place on the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the winter season.

NEC WINTER COMMISSIONER'S HONOR ROLL
The NEC's Winter Academic Honor Roll consisted of 478 student-athletes with a 3.20 or better grade point average. There were also 134 student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, recognizing those superior student-athletes with a 3.75 or better grade point average.
The conference also announced its scholar-athlete award winners for each of the six winter sports it sponsors. All scholar-athlete award winners must have earned a minimum of 60 semester hours at their institution, maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20 and participated with distinction as a member of a varsity team.
