Central Eighth After Day One at NEC's
Sophomore Elizabeth Eberhardt helped lead the Blue Devils on day one.
The Central Connecticut women's track & field team are sitting at eighth with 4.5 points after day one of the Northeast Conference Championships. The two-day meet is being held at Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, MD.
Sophomore Elizabeth Eberhardt placed eighth in the 3,000m crossing the line at 10:17.49. In the pole vault, sophomore Jess Davis recorded an impressive 2.90m placing her in the five spot.
Competition resumes tomorrow with the field events at 9:30 a.m and the running of the final race at 4:10 p.m.
