Men's and Women's Track & Field Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team
Both men's and women's track & field have been honored as part of the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association 2011 division one all-academic teams for outstanding academic performance. Teams who have posted a combined team GPA of 3.00 or higher have earned this distinction. The men's team was one of 90 track & field teams selected with a collective GPA of 3.19 and the women's team was one of 164 teams posting a 3.19 GPA.

The Blue Devil women are one of five Northeast Conference schools chosen to the all-academic team and the men are one of four NEC teams. In addition to Central Connecticut St. Francis (PA), Robert Morris, and Monmouth for both men's and women's track & field as well as Long Island for women's track & field represented the NEC as honorees.
Eric Blake is in his third year as the head coach of the men's track & field, cross-country teams and second year as the coach of the women's track & field, cross country teams. Blake has won three Northeast Conference Championships as a head coach. This year's men's team welcomes back seniors Sam Alexander and Rashad Williams as well as sophomore Aaron Radden. Senior Amanda Asaro and sophomore Meghan Burns also return to the women's team.
