Morabito Wins Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational

Women's cross country finishes third as a team

Senior Brooke Morabito ran away from the field to win the individual title on Saturday at the Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational. The Central Connecticut State women's cross-country team placed third at the event with 75 points.

NOTABLE:

Morabito's winning time on Saturday was 13:56.2, seven seconds clear of the runner-up over the 4K course
Mya Morabito was the Blue Devils second finisher, placing 11th with a time of 14:44.2
Juliana Cancellieri was the third finisher for CCSU, at 15:02, 21st overall, and Kayle Gravel was 27th overall at 15:27.2
Isabelle Mondo (32nd) ran a time of 15:51.0 to round out the CCSU scorers
