Women's Golf Finishes Second Round at Yale
Williams leads CCSU with 156 through two rounds
The Central Connecticut women's golf team sits in 15th place after the second round at the Yale Women's Intercollegiate on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Ella Williams shot a round two total of 80 and sits in a tie for 37th place overall after Saturday's second round.
Freshman Tara Whelan shot four strokes better in her second round than she did on Friday. She fired a 78 and sits at 160 in a tie for 62nd place after Saturday.
Junior Sarah Boden shot an 82 on Saturday and is in 66th place overall. She sits at 162. Freshman Cecy Gutierrez shot 83 and has a score of 165 after the second round. She is tied for 74th place overall. Sophomore Kaitlyn Stoddart shot 87 and is in a tie for 77th place.
The third and final round will take place on Sunday at the Golf Course at Yale.
