
Quartet Named To CSC Swimming And Diving Academic All-District
Four members of the Central Connecticut State swimming and diving program were recognized for their scholastic achievement with inclusion on the Academic All-District Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators. The team is selected to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. Honoreees, in addition to athletic prowess, must maintain at least a 3.50 GPA.
CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Each school is limited to nominate four qualified student-athletes for consideration for Academic All-District.
The CCSU honorees are:
Rachel Giroux, Jr., Diving, English
Hannah Kretkowski, So. Fly/IM, Accounting
Sophia Pincince, Jr., Distance Freestyle, Exercise Science
Maggie Rutledge, Jr., Freestyle, Biology
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
