Yepes Named to NEWISA All-New England Team
Kiley Yepes of the Central Connecticut women's soccer team was named to the 2024 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association NCAA Division I All-New England Team on Monday. Yepes earned a spot on the NEWISA All-New England Third Team.
The teams are voted on by NCAA Division I coaches from colleges and universities in New England, comprises a First Team, a Second Team, and a Third Team. Each team has four forwards, four midfielders, four defenders, and a goalkeeper.
Yepes Yepes started all 17 games for the Blue Devils and tied for second on the team with three goals. A team captain, she is a two-time All-Northeast Conference Second Team selection and has played in 54 career matches. She has collected four goals and three assists, while anchoring a backline that has posted 15 shutouts over the past three seasons. Yepes was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Fourth Team this season.
