
Women's Soccer Blanks Mercyhurst For Second Consecutive Win
DeFlorio records first clean sheet; Horgan scores for second time in as many games
The Central Connecticut State women's soccer team won for the second time in as many outings, defeating Northeast Conference host Mercyhurst College 2-0 Sunday afternoon. The Blue Devils are 2-0-1 in NEC play, while the Lakers fall to 1-1-1 in conference play.
Aoife Horgan scored for the second time in as many games, finding the back of the net in the 61st minute to break the scoreless tie.
Taylor DeFlorio played all 90 minutes in net for Central, earning her first career shutout,
